Personal returns are due on April 30th. My deadline is April 19th to be guaranteed filed on time.

Laurie processed my personal and business taxes the fastest, and least problematic way I’ve ever experienced. Everything was done online, which was fantastic! Would very highly recommend.

“I had Laurie recommended to me for my first year doing my taxes for my new business. She was very responsive to all my questions. To say she was helpful would be an understatement. She took all my anxiety away that i had just wondering what tax season would be like my first year being self employeed. I had sent all my information she needed over email and the questionnaire she sent. She had everything filled out and sent back to me to look over within 24 hours. She is truly wonderful at what she does and knows what she is doing. Thank you Laurie for easing my anxiety this tax season!”

“I reached out to Laurie after being referred by a friend. I had planned on completing our taxes myself but ran into a snag very close to the deadline. Laurie responded to my inquiry very quickly and addressed all my concerns before signing on - there was never any pressure from Laurie and she was upfront about process from the beginning. The process was very simple and convenient; from the new customer questionnaire to the secure document uploading portal. The best part was she was able to meet the deadline despite my very late request. Will definitely work with Laurie again! Thank you Laurie”

  • There is new reporting requirements for Trusts specifically Bare Trusts, which have never had to filed before or even legally documented.

Examples of these common Bare Trusts are:

    • Your name is on your child’s house title for financing reasons

    • Your name is on your Parent(s) house title for estate planning purposes.

    • Your name is on your parent(s) bank account or investments for estate planning purposes.

If you have any of these situations, then yes, you may have to file a Trust return (T3). If you are unsure, I suggest contacting a Lawyer for clarification on your situation

The penalty for not filing is a whopping $25/day. These are information returns, no taxes are payable. Contact me for more info on this.
